Ben Greenberg is responsible for leading Tenet Equity’s day-to-day closing department efforts from deal origination through closing. Ben also supports the acquisitions and credit teams in connection with transaction structuring, resource management, and risk mitigation considerations.
Having previously served in leadership roles with both large national and boutique real estate firms, as well as public and private company legal departments, Ben brings over 15 years of legal experience and business acumen within the real estate industry to Tenet’s closing team. Prior to joining Tenet, Ben led Carvana’s (NYSE: CVNA) national real estate acquisition efforts for the real estate legal team, successfully closing a high volume of complex acquisition (and sale-leaseback financing) transactions across the United States. Ben also previously served as general counsel for a premier developer of luxury private golf and residential communities, where he advised the management team on a broad range of corporate, real estate, finance, and operational matters.
Ben holds an LL.M. in Taxation from New York University School of Law and a J.D. (magna cum laude) from California Western School of Law. Prior to his legal studies, Ben earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from the University of California San Diego, where he was a member of the Tritons’ NCAA baseball team.
